So I reached out inquiring what occurred with the paperwork and also spoke to **** about the issues I was having with the car (oil sludge, smoking from the exhaust). I originally contacted you in January because the extended warranty company reported that they never received the paperwork from you. Unfortunately, because we were unaware of any of the issues you experienced and the length of time between the purchase and the issues arising, we are unable to cover ************. According to our records you initially reached out to our team on Januto obtain information about your **************** Contract and then discussed this issue with them shortly thereafter. We strive to provide excellent customer service and we work with all of our customers when issues arise. Our inspection records did not show the issues you are experiencing. Unfortunately, there may be some issues with vehicles of which we are not aware.

As you know all of the vehicles we sell are pre-owned and sold AS IS which is reflected in our low prices. We take concerns such as yours very seriously. We appreciate you reaching out regarding the repair issues on your October 2022 vehicle purchase. As of today, I havent received a call back from Off Lease and at this point I would like assistance with either repairing the car or trading it in for a usable car. Currently, I have a smoking car with 39k miles on it that is in need of a new engine. ****** submitted the claim to the warranty company, and it was denied due to being a pre-existing condition. Upon ******s inspection of the car, it was revealed that my 2019 ****** needed a NEW ENGINE. Due to their lack of customer service and my need to have a functioning car, I took the car to ****** in hopes that my extended warranty would cover any repair costs. I even tried to schedule a face-to-face appointment and was told that I couldnt do so. Every time I called, I was told that an email would be sent to **** and the General Manager and to expect a call back. I never heard back from **** and contacted Off Lease for nearly a week in attempts to reach someone who could help me. **** explained to me that he would speak to his manager about my options and would get back to me within a few days. At that time I contacted Off Lease to report the issues and was told by a Sales Representative, ****, that he would speak to the head of the ****************** and provide me with a copy of the maintenance report that was completed prior to selling the car. Unfortunately, within the next month smoke started coming out of the exhaust system. My mechanic hoped that by flushing the system (two times) that he could resolve the issue. I then took it to my mechanic who informed me that the oil was complete sludge and that it looked like it had never been changed. I immediately checked the engine and noticed that there wasnt any oil in the system. Within a month of having the car it started making a weird noise.
